Overall, 85 . 4 percent of respondents indicated they will continue to purchase tools over the internet .
A small number of them were unsure (14 . 6 percent) of their continued reliance on the internet for their
future tool shopping . Owners (87 . 7 percent) along with parts managers (81 . 3 percent) comprised the
largest percentage of respondents who would continue to purchase their tools online . These findings
represent fairly consistent results for owners when compared with the previous year, while parts
mangers increased from 70 percent in 2016 to 81 . 3 percent in 2017 .
